The angry letter Mayor Jim Watson wrote last Friday threatening to pull out of the casino process if Toronto got a sweeter deal than Ottawa sparked a series of events that results in only two possible outcomes: either Ottawa ends up being offered a bigger piece of the province’s gambling take, or plans for a Toronto downtown casino are dead.
