why not go to toronto chinabank, 1000cad charge u 12 or so cad. and i think this is most cheaper way
But I am in Ottawa, and just now I called China Bank Toronto branch, they are so arrogant, unwilling to answer my question. So I dont want to use their service any more. And purchasing a bank draft only costs less than $10 in CIBC, is not so expensive.

Yes, they can deposit your bank draft at any branch of Bank of China and get money after one and a half month or so.
The service charge fee by Bank of China depends on the amount of money
you send.
wire transfer costs around $30, fund will be made effective in 3 days. bank draft only $6, but need more time to clear the fund in the draft. I am just not sure if China Bank branches in China can accept the bank draft or money order drawn in a foreign bank outside China.
by the way, I found the sevice is so worse in China Bank compared with all other foreign banks, I dont know why, I am disappointed!
