Thousand Islands Bridge to get $60M upgrade

OTTAWA — The federal government has earmarked up to $60 million to expand and upgrade infrastructure on Canada’s side of the international border crossing at the Thousand Islands Bridge. Leeds-Grenville MP Gord Brown announced the funding on Tuesday in Lansdowne, Ont., on behalf of Transport Minister Denis Lebel.
