My house is a semi-detached one. There is hedge btw my backyard and my neighbor's. But the hedge was planted all on my property. It had been there when we bought the house two years ago. When the hedge grows up, some of its branches stretch to my neighbor's side. Today my neighbour asked me to trim the branches for him on his side.
Actually even the hedge is on my property, it provides privacy for both families. My neighbour also benefits from it a lot. They can not just trim the branches themselves on their side?
Is there a by-law to make the owner of the hedge to trim for their neighbours in the case?
Thanks.
