Soccer dome owners seek $6.5M from city

Owners of Coliseum Inc., Ian Martin and Marty Lauter, are seeking $6.5 million from the city through arbitration to recoup their losses from a cancelled multi-year deal to operate winter soccer at Lansdowne Park. Coliseum has run league games at Lansdowne for more than 10 years, but was forced to leave before the 2012 season because of redevelopment plans for the site.
