Late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has DEREGULATED bus service.
And I can't imagine a bus driver (OC) can earn over hundred thousand a year. Canada bus drivers are among the best paid in the world!
We don't need Unions to run this country. Get rid of them.

为什么汽车票那么便宜，还都自己开车？工交不方便。为什么不方便？
把公交线路增加到欧洲的水平，谁投资（钱哪里来）？即便有钱，线路也够多了，那运营费用承受得起么？
整个Ottawa勉强百万人口，分散在那么大的土地面积上，工交没法搞。
在北京，甭说常住人口，每天到北京出差的人和过往旅客有多少。

When people talking about COST, it shows they are quite short-sighted.
Look at London subway which was built more than hundred years, also the subway in Moscow, Paris....
If not because of Montreal 1976 Olympics, Montreal has no sub-way and the whole city will become paralyzed in huge snow storm.
We need leaders with VISION.

I don't mind paying tax, I mind they WASTE our money on PRESTO projects (federal, provincial, and city). PRESTO projects refer those projects which miss dead line, waste money, 1 % error (still acceptable!!!)....
