Peruvian woman, daughter win appeal to stay in Canada

An Ottawa teenager should be able to rejoin Sea Cadets after she and her mother won an appeal that allows them to stay in Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. Naomi Arroya, 14, and her mother Rosa Aylas, failed refugee claimants, were due to be deported after losing an initial humanitarian appeal.
