Michael Kinghorn’s sculptures are what public art should be — coherent, relevant and broadly accessible. The blacksmith artist from Wakefield, Quebec has installed two, city-commissioned works at new fire stations in south and west Ottawa, and each work is built with pieces of local history, literally.
