Day 31: Taking the word to the streets

The street sign makes it clear that there’s only one non-emergency vehicle that’s allowed to park directly in front of Carlington Recreation Centre on Caldwell Avenue, and precisely at 11:30 a.m. each Thursday, the Ottawa Public Library’s bookmobile, loaded with 3,000 to 5,000 books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and video games, is steered into that spot.
