The City of Gatineau has extended the hours at area beaches to help residents stay cool during this week’s heat wave. Gatineau planned to pull lifeguards from its beaches this week, but they will remain on duty from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The beaches will also be open the next two weekends.
