Councillor backs away from fence proposal for east end park

OTTAWA — A “large amount of feedback” from residents has convinced city Coun. Bob Monette to back away from his proposal to fence in an Orléans playground that sits next to a off-leash dog park. However, Monette notes in a public letter Saturday, a resident has mustered a 25-name petition for a review of the off-leash designation for the dog area in Voyageur Park.
