A police constable’s shooting of a fawn struck by a car in Chelsea Monday has sparked so much rage that some Facebook users are wishing harm on the officer and even his family. Clearly, the situation is getting out of hand, and the MRC des Collines de L’Outauoais police force, which covers the Gatineau Hills area, is considering some blowback. The force is contemplating going after some culprits who posted comments on Facebook sites, which include photos of Const. Philippe Roy about to shoot the fawn, and laying criminal charges.
