Embattled Clarence-Rockland Mayor Marcel Guibord and co-accused councillors charged in a political corruption investigation are now thinking about giving the town’s bylaw officers the power to make arrests at unruly council meetings. Coun. Diane Choinière, Coun. Guy Félio and Mayor Guibord have all been charged with breach of trust after a two-year investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police anti-rackets squad.
