冬胎团购， 更新 11 (Nov. 4)：问了一圈， 感觉 TALON TIRE 还是便宜些！

  • Most of these cars and SUV have wheel sensors (except for the accent, Sonata, Tiguan)
  • Rav 4 and Camry they will have to check if they have sensors as it is an option on those cars.
  • Will they all want sensors or run no sensors in winter and have a light on??
  • All Toyota packages where they currently have mags will require extra nuts for the steel wheels

Extra nuts for Toyota packages switching from mags to steel wheels will cost $1.00 per nut ($20.00 extra)

For the cars with sensors you have the option to run no sensors in winter. If you do the sensor light will remain on for the entire winter and go off once you put your summer tires back on.

If you purchase sensors they will have to be programmed in order to function. Most tire shops can program them for $20-$50. The dealer can program them as well but might charge anywhere from $35 - 1 hour labour. If you’re only keeping the car for 2-3 years you might find it easier to just buy tires and install on the original mags that came with the car.

Please give me more info on the cars with question marks.

今天收到 TALON TIRE 回的邮件，解释为什么这次价格折扣不如以前大 （因为我发了邮件问他们怎么回事）， 他们的解释是：所给的价格，税已经包括在内了， 而且是HST， 不是以往的光GST （差9.975%， QST）。 当然， 相比四年前，什么也都涨了点。

1. 今天问了一圈， CANADIAN TIRE, COSTCO, FORD DEALER, GARAGE, 都比 TALON TIRE 报的价贵。 哎， 看来现在价格优势大的还真不好找了。
2. 今天有几位团员想和 TALON TIRE 联系， 问到我们的团号问题。以便拿到团价。 我想就叫 “OTTAWA MOVIEFANCA GROUP " 吧。

I just bought the whole package at Onion Auto Service Today. The rims are hub centric, as recommended by Costco Auto Service. The whole package should be 150 to 200 lower than Costco's price. I don't have time to order via Talon Tire for the delivery, even at Costco, we need to buy the rims online. So at Onion, just pay, and get things done, easier for me.

给他们发email问价格，没搭理我，就直接去CT买了Hankook winter tire。
看评价是一致说好，价格也便宜。正价买的，不到700大洋。
Costco的轮胎加安装是525，再加rim,差不多700，比团购价格725便宜些。

You are right, Costco also asked me to buy rims online, "not simple, sometimes not naive" :)

CT 给我的价， 轮胎较贵， 但钢圈便宜, 总价感觉是在 COSTCO 和 TALON TIRE 之间。

Michelin package: $658.70

You also can have $70 manufacturer rebate from Michelin. So your actual cost is only $588.7. Saving over $100 compare to costco
