Pending on your usage, 真的打的不不多的话 switch to 7-11, IDENTICAL, just different names(actually both Rogers), different sales outlet, different min. ==> 7-11 $25/365 days vs PetroCan minimum $25/120d. May be better to sell your PetroCan balance @ discount, then switch to 7-11, u do calculation

不在乎信号，wind最便宜，flat rate 0.2， incoming free，没有911fee，绝对没有更便宜的，就是信号惨了点。

信号不是一般的差，当你需要打电话时，给你来个“windaway”，干瞪眼，没辙。

WIND could still be a good choice, DEPENDS on usage. Especially $0 for incoming calls when within the WIND zone and ROAMING ~200 countries. As for 信号，"windaway"时，不用干瞪眼，THEORETICALLY it's supposed to "roam" on Rogers, $0.20/min. for both in and out calls to CAN/US, SMS in$0, SMS out $0.15.

Not true，价格不是差不多， 做比较会令你很头晕的
PAUG - President Choice (=Bell Network) is $0.20/min., free call forwarding, WIND $0.20 (free incoming). Bell+Virgin both offer $10/mth plan, then $0.10/min. So "cheapest" option depends on usage again.
(收发短信 - quite a few companies provide free incoming SMS.)

Rogers Evening+Weekends of $0.40/$0.01/min is not bad. Yes, $0.01/min after 8pm or all day during weekends.

Koodo could be an excellent choice for kids who love texting, both their talk-time and data can be "ROLL OVER" as long as phone is valid. Yes, something like $30/G data can last over 1 year if u don't use much every month.

另外我知道ROGERS啊啥的大公司手机都是锁住的，不知道PETRO或者7-11这些的手机是不是也锁了，要是想转去别家，有可能吗？

Not true，PETRO信号=7-11信号=Rogers信号
我怀疑并相信 PETRO和7-11的手机也是"锁了". Rogers "owns" - Fido/Chatr/PetroCan/7-11/searsconnect.ca(Sears)/wireless.talkandsave.ca(RBC)/canada.good2gomobile.com(~=Petro=7-11)/Cityfone.net. Some phones from these 8 or 9 "companies" could be interchanged（=手机可能可以互换）.

The only tests I've done were:
- 7-11 SIM works on a Petro 5-years old phone.
- Both Petro+711 SIM works on a 7-years old Rogers basic Nokia phone
- neither works on a 5-years old Fido Nokia phone.

petro的还行。就是有时没信号，但关机再开机就又有了。也可能是我手机不好。

是有roam，但很多时候不好用。可能与手机有关？有几次在bayshore发生这种情况，服务人员的解决办法是关机在开。或者花钱修。经常这样很烦人的。

Oh! Thank u both for info, so many 关机开机? Once in a BLUE MOON, I notice my 7-11 no signal, but free voice mail included anyway and I never worry. We don't have much call, never notice any missed call.

As for phone, NEW basic GSM Samsung or whatever basic phones are just $20/$30 on sales. Very easy to unlock. Don't think WIND is running on GSM? or it works off a non popular band width?

如果电话自己带来，只是少量通话，直接用中国移动，漫游到Rogers的网络，网络覆盖好，电话费RMB2.99/分钟，短信收不要钱，发RMB0.99，如果出去旅游到美国什么的，费用更低(RMB0.99/min，0.36/sms),真的很方便。
