Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Mark Taylor, Chair of the Community and Protective Services Committee, Kanata-North Councillor Marianne Wilkinson and West Carleton-March Councillor Eli El-Chantiry, will formally open the new $43 million Richcraft Recreation Complex – Kanata on Thursday afternoon.
The new facility fulfills a long-standing need for a major recreation complex to serve the rapidly growing north-western region of the city.

4101 Innovation Drive
Naming rights for this facility were negotiated by a community fundraising group with The Richcraft Group of Companies for a contribution of $500,000.
An open house for the public will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
