OTTAWA — The city government needs a better way to decide when a project is far enough off the rails that the public needs to be told, says Coun. Maria McRae as officials try to recover from the botched construction of a simple footbridge across the Airport Parkway. “There’s no process in place that outlines at what point you communicate what’s really critical information,” the River ward councillor said Friday.
