Ottawa – Board of Health member Councillor Mathieu Fleury and Dr. Isra Levy, Medical Officer of Health, will join staff from Ottawa Public Health, the University of Ottawa’s Health Promotion Services and volunteers from Planned Parenthood Ottawa to distribute Valentine cards and condoms with healthy sexuality information to students at the University of Ottawa campus.
The Sex it Smart campaign promotes healthy sexual relationships among youth with the goal of reducing the spread of sexually transmitted infections such as Chlamydia and gonorrhea. The initiative includes education on proper condom use and the improved availability of condoms through online ordering on the Sex It Smart website.
Date: Tuesday, February 11
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
