Proposed Hintonburg tower reduced to 30 storeys

Claridge Homes has slightly adjusted its design for a condo tower in Hintonburg in order to appease concerns from residents who said the building was too tall and lacked parking spaces. The revamped proposal going to the city’s planning committee next week calls for a reduced height, dropping the uniquely designed tower to 30 storeys from the previously proposed 39. The number of resident parking stalls increases from 152 to 162 and there is a bump in the number of visitor parking stalls, to 23 from 10.
