Ottawa - The swimming pool at the Goulbourn Recreation Complex will be closed for an extended period of time due to necessary maintenance and structural work. The City of Ottawa advises residents that the pool will not reopen on June 28, 2014 as previously communicated and will remainclosed until further notice.
Investigative work is also underway to ensure continued public safety. The City will inform residents when a new opening date is confirmed. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
The arenas, fitness rooms and community centre space remain open to the public. March Break and all other programming in the community centre and arena will continue as planned.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the pool at the Richcraft Recreation Complex-Kanata as well as the Walter Baker Sports Centre. Please note that the Kanata Leisure Centre will be closed for planned annual maintenance from March 17 to April 27, inclusively. Visit ottawa.ca for other pool locations and other classes and activities offered by the City of Ottawa.
