After losing in 2011 election, Proulx turns to real estate

Marcel Proulx, the long-term Liberal MP for Hull-Aylmer, is departing politics, preferring to sell real estate. Proulx represented the riding for 11 years beginning in 1999, only to be defeated by an NDP candidate in the 2011 federal election. On Sunday, in a prepared statement, he said he would not be a candidate in the next election, expected in 2015.
