Ottawa - Pursuant to Subsection 82 (1) of Procedure By-law 2006-462, the Chair of the Transit Commission has called a Special Meeting of the Commission for Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Andrew S. Haydon Hall, for the purpose of considering, in camera, a tentative collective agreement with Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 279 (Para Transpo). The Special Transit Commission meeting will be convened at 9 a.m.
In keeping with Council’s Term of Council priorities to be open, transparent and to have fewer closed meetings, the Chair invites all Members of Council to attend this Special Meeting. It is anticipated that the matter will be addressed by Council immediately thereafter in open session.
