Enhance Realiability Check

I am just wondering if " you are pretty sure it's possible to get Enchanced Security Check " Why do you have a lot of questions about it ?

I am sure cause I just got here and one agent would like to apply it for me. I just don't know why everyone keeps calling it "Enchanced Security Check" becasue as CIISD, there're no security checks called "Enchanced Security Check". Again the four levels are
1. RELIABILITY STATUS
2. CONFIDENTIAL
3. SECRET
4. TOP SECRET
So..."Enchanced Security Check" equals to which level?! Thanks...

So it means the check has nothing to do with CIC, Citizenship and Immigration Canada? Thanks...

Let me answer your question.

Enchanced = RELIABILITY

That is why sometimes it calls "Enhanced Reliability".

There are actually only 3 levels of security clearance:

level 1 is enhanced
level 2 is secret
level 3 is top secret

CSIS is in charge of all background checks. All government agencies have to go through CSIS and RCMP to issue clearance. Many of the agencies have secure-channeled communication to the RCMP criminal record database, as well as the credit bureau of Canada (for financial background checks, because you can tell a lot about a person's characters based on how he/she spends money). CIC is only the frontline of a very long process, actual checks are done through CSIS.
