Police investigate shot fired at home belonging to young family

OTTAWA — The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is investigating after a shot was fired into a home as a family and young child were sleeping early Monday morning. Police said they received several calls around 2:30 a.m. for reports of shots fired near Prince Albert Street and St. Laurent Boulevard in the Overbrook neighbourhood.
