It was anything but paradise for a Gatineau man who was arrested and detained under the wrongful suspicion that he had stolen an $18 pair of headphones from Sears. Jonathan Paradis, 35, was arrested, detained and charged with theft and failing to appear, and all because his name was one letter too close to Paradise. Literally.
