Inquest probing death of construction worker starts Monday

The death of an Ottawa construction worker, who was trapped under a slab of concrete for more than 30 minutes, will be examined at an inquest starting Monday. Ben Long, 50, died in May 2011 as a result of injuries at a Sandy Hill construction site, the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services said in a statement. When a construction worker dies from a workplace injury, an inquest is mandatory.
