About TV price, it is truly high, but you know when you compare the Toshiba and Panasonic TVs with Sony TVs at the same time, then you will find the diffirence, the image quality is much better, that's why I bought it, that's also why many chinese bought at on Boxing DAy.
Frankly, I bought it from Future Shop on Last Boxing Day, this TV is 679.99$ , plus tax is 782$, and 120$ less on that day, so many chinese bought these, even now, can you find this brand of flat TV's price in lower than $679, if you can, pls give me a link.
Yes, it's true that the original price difference between sony and Panasonic and Toshiba is more than 100$ before tax, but you should take the image quality into your account, let alone other brand, you can't compare only on price.
