Ottawa police warn residents about computer scams

Ottawa police have issued a warning that two different scams have surfaced in the city. Police said the first type of scam involves a victim receiving a call about fake problems with their computer. The scammer gives the victim guidance to resolve the computer problem and obtains bank information to wire payments to.
