City of Ottawa’s decision not to enforce pit bull ban draws critics, praise

That the City of Ottawa refuses to enforce the province’s pit bull ban does not come as news to Lidia Loukine. Loukine, an analyst at the Public Health Agency of Canada, was so frustrated by the city’s inaction last year that she turned to the court system to protect her two young children from a neighbour’s pit bull-like dog.
