Ottawa –Councillor Diane Holmes, Chair of the Ottawa Board of Health, Dr. Isra Levy, Medical Officer of Health, Wallace Beaton, Coordinator of Active and Safe Routes to School, Green Communities Canada and Denise André, Deputy Director of Education, Ottawa Catholic School Board, will join students and staff at Convent Glen Catholic School to celebrate significant strides schools have made to increase children walking and wheeling to school during the past school year.

On-site visitor parking and street parking available
The event will feature students participating in bike rodeo activities and hands-on speed radar gun demonstrations by the Ottawa Police Service, Capital Vélo Fest and Clean Air Champions.
