General Assembly is a national gathering held every two years by The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. This five-day event (July 2-6) is a time to gather in community and in unity—a time when we say again who we are and what our purpose is. General Assembly is a fresh reminder that we are called to be on mission together.
This year, Ottawa is our host city. We have gathered for previous Assemblies in Antalya, Turkey as well as Edmonton, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Calgary and more.
General Assembly is the governing body of the Alliance in Canada, with delegates from churches across the nation meeting to discuss, cast vision and make decisions. But this is not a business-as-usual Assembly—we are expecting God to show up, to demonstrate his divine presence and release his supernatural power.
