Had he lived, Kyle Nash would have graduated Thursday from Carleton University.
Nash, 21, was a fourth-year student in the university’s Interactive Multimedia and Design program when he was killed along with five others in the Sept. 18 collision between an OC Transpo bus and a Via Rail passenger train.
The university held a private ceremony for Nash’s family on Thursday during its spring convocation week.
“We were proud to recognize Kyle’s work and the role he played in our university community,” university president Roseann O’Reilly Runte said in a statement. “It was a privilege to share memories and reflections on his accomplishments with family and friends.”
