We’ve compiled the unofficial voter turnout data from Elections Ontario of the Ottawa area ridings, which were crucial to Kathleen Wynne’s victory Thursday night. It is important to note that these are unofficial numbers and they might change slightly.
The data show that voter turnout in Ontario went up slightly for the first time in roughly two decades, to 52.1 per cent from a record low in 2011. In the Ottawa area, the riding with the highest voter turnout was Ottawa-Orléans at 60.5 per cent. The lowest voter turnout was in Stormont — Dundas — South Glengarry with 50 per cent.
