of which about $5 cash burned from last Q. Its current cash reserve of only $2.4M won't be enough to survive one more such a Q.

I was wondering how they could get a $6.7M financing in May (much of it already consumed).

Should we leave this kind of hopeless companies die?
 
Sorry! The cash burned in the last Q was $5M not $5. Apologize for the error. Hope nobody took that number seriously.

Also for those who are not familar with the company, the total number of shares far far exceed the number of common shares (of only 8M thanks to last year's 30 for 1 reversed split). Don't be fooled by that number and think it's of a small market cap.
 
thanks a lot. It looks like that the FA is very important as well.

BTW I think the SWIR will be benefit from the bad news of NVTL, because one of SWIR's competitor will die soon.

Another stock in this section is WIN.TO, it just breakthrough today, The TA shows that it might have the chance to reach CND4.80 - CND5.00 soon. But this company is losing money and there are only about 5 million cash available. Any comments on it?

WIN.TO is a very good company in terms of technologies. I've been very much disappointed about their operation, especially in marketing, strategic alliances and financial management. It has a lot of potential and also high risks. One more thing I don't feel very confortable is about its sales in China. I have some concerns (or doubt) on

1) if the sales numbers to China are for real
2) how much of those sales went to their own companies (through collaboration)
3) why they fail in North-America and Europe and only to succeed in China
...

A part from that, it's worth of try.

假如北美经济再持续目前的状况一年(看来一年内进入经济恢复的可能性只有20%),
将会又有一大批Hi-tec中小公司濒临倒闭。举个例子:渥太华的INNOVINCE在2000年
时还有300M周转资金,当时他们很乐观:有300Million的现金支撑度过2年的经济downturn足
足有余了。可到现在3年半过去了,经济恢复的影子还没看到,公司的现金即将烧完。
而要找新投资人谈何容易。现在公司员工只上半天班,实际就是倒闭的前奏。当然,
看到这一大批中小公司倒闭,工业巨头们,像Cisco, NT, Lucent 还是很高兴的。
没有了竟争对手,顾客的订单只会在这几家之间瓜分。至于炒股者,我还是建议你
们把手中的小公司股票早点出空,买进巨头们的股票吧。
