One person was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire at 2440 Autumn Hill Cres. near Innes Road Monday.
A neighbour called police at 5:23 p.m. saying they could see smoke inside the house and hear a smoke detector going off.
Fire crews arrived and began to work on the fire right away. They had it under control by 5:45 p.m.
The fire was contained to the kitchen. Damages are estimated at about $50,000.
Fire services are investigating.
