Ottawa – A section of Old Montreal Road, between Dairy Road and Grand Chêne Court, is slated to be closed starting Monday, July 14, for the installation of a watermain and road reconstruction.
Motorists, cyclists and transit users may experience delays during both peak and off-peak hours due to this road closure. A signed formal detour will be in place, but commuters are advised to avoid the area.
The two formal detours are northbound on Quigley Hill to westbound on Highway 174 or southbound on Frank Kenney Road, westbound on Innes Road and northbound on Trim Road.
Businesses remain open as usual.
The work is scheduled to be completed by early August, weather permitting.
