Ottawa – Ottawa sports fans have an exciting weekend coming up, with both the Ottawa REDBLACKS and the Ottawa Fury FC playing their first games in their new home: TD Place at Lansdowne. The REDBLACKS play their home opener on Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m. Event-goers are urged to take advantage of a variety of transportation options for getting to and from TD Place.
REDBLACKS tickets include free options to get to the game:

OC Transpo customer service representatives will be present at Park & Ride locations to assist customers. Para Transpo customers can also travel for free with their game ticket.
For REDBLACKS games, Ottawa Sports and Entertaiment Group (OSEG) is providing free, secure bike parking at the skating court, east of Aberdeen Pavilion beginning at 4p.m. A new multi-use pathway now connects this area directly to the National Capital Commission (NCC) path along the Queen Elizabeth Driveway. Visit ottawa.ca for a map of comfortable cycling routes.
While event-goers are encouraged to use these convenient transportation options, anyone choosing to drive to the event should be aware that only Club Seat ticket holders will have access to on-site parking. Motorists are also encouraged to use a designated driver following events.
This weekend also marks the home opener of the Ottawa Fury FC, with a game on July 20 at 3 p.m. This event is expected to be well attended and additional free transportation options will be available to help ticketholders get to TD Place. OC Transpo and STO are providing enhanced service on Bank Street on routes 1 and 7 as well as direct special-event service to the stadium on all 450-series routes.
