Friday kicks off with warnings of a wet weekend.
Forecasters see a 30-per-cent of showers in the late afternoon, but with a risk of thunderstorms.
Friday’s high is 25 degrees and the night should be increasingly cloudy, leading to a mainly cloudy Saturday.
Environment Canada puts Saturday’s chance of rain at about 60 per cent, with a risk of thunderstorm all afternoon and evening.
Sunday, the odds of rain drop to 40 per cent with a cool high of 22 C to close the weekend.
But for those who don’t mind swimming while getting wet from above as well, Ottawa’s beaches remain open.
