Paramedics confirmed that two patients were in hospital, one with more serious injuries than the other, after a car crashed into an east-side store Monday afternoon.
They received a call to the All Africa Market near Rue de L’Eglise and MacArthur Avenue just before 4 p.m.
Paramedics could not provide further information about the two people or the nature of their injuries but said one of the patients was the driver of the car. They could not confirm whether the other injured person was a passenger or someone who was outside the store.
Police said during the dinner hour that officers were still investigating but could provide no further details as to the cause of the crash or the amount of damage caused.
