Bad Parking Ottawa is a Facebook page that shares “our mutual concern” for the plethora of inconsiderate parkers around the city.
Most of us take pride in our privilege to drive — this site sheds light to those who do not.
— the Facebook page
The page, which has almost 2,000 likes, was created on June 26.
Users have since uploaded close to 200 photos of questionable judgment, some of which range from the minor car-over-curb offence to the more egregious three-parking spot hog.
There are a few rules for anyone who wants to post a pic: you must include the location, date and time of the photo, as well as a description of the parking offence.
For example, is the car taking up two or more spaces? Is it using a handicap space without a permit? Is it parking while facing the wrong way on a street?
Is it doing all these three things at once?
Below, a few of our favourite bad parking photos.

At a Walmart in Kemptville. Trying is hard.

“Sexydude,” parked in a handicap spot outside a Winners. Bad parking isn’t sexy, dude.

Outside a Mac’s in Blackburn Hamlet. Too distracted by the two for $4 drink special to park properly.

In a Tim Hortons parking lot. Perhaps in need of some coffee to awaken the senses.

Why bother anymore? What is the meaning of life, anyway?

And then there’s this strangely incompetent photo of an SUV mounted a top a large boulder in a Shopper’s Drug Mart parking lot.
