City officials joined Bernie Ashe, CEO of Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, and other guests Friday to officially open the park portion of Lansdowne Park.
It will first open to the public Saturday Aug 16 at 11 a.m.
It’s taken more than a year of construction to complete the new 18-acre urban park.
