The Fitzroy Station Bridge will close Monday morning, the first day of a 10-week rehabilitation project.
Drivers can follow signs for the detour route, which will pass along Harbour Street, Fitzroy Street and Canon Smith Drive. The route will also be open to pedestrians and cyclists.
Galetta Side Road will also be closed.
The bridge over the Carp River needs repairs to its box girders, parapet walls and approach slabs. The $612,000 project will also include expansion joint replacements.
