Ottawa – The City is pleased to announce that the play area at Lansdowne Park, which includes a play structure and skateboard ramps, is now open to the public.
A rubberized surface has now been installed, providing asafer and more accessible play space for children, parentsand caregivers to enjoy. The installation of this surface hadbeen previously delayed due to inclement weather.
Lansdowne Park is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The public can access Lansdowne Park via Queen Elizabeth Driveway. The Bank Street entrance is temporarily reserved for construction crews and related construction traffic only. During major events, all entrances will be open to the public.
The City would like to remind pedestrians and cyclists travelling through Lansdowne Park to exercise caution aroundconstruction vehicles and equipment. Public safety is our priority.
Construction at Lansdowne will continue until late fall. Forongoing information, please visit.ottawa.ca.
