Ottawa police are looking for the driver of a car who may have witnessed a collision on Woodroffe Avenue Saturday morning that critically injured a cyclist.
The 20-year-old man was still in critical condition on Thursday.
The cyclist was travelling westbound on Medhurst Drive and was struck by a southbound vehicle at the Woodroffe Avenue intersection just after 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

On Thursday, police released an image from a traffic camera that shows a southbound vehicle whose driver may have seen the collision. They haven’t been able to identify the car from the blurry image, but hope the public might be able to help. Investigators believe the driver may have information crucial to their investigation.
The driver, or anyone else who recognizes the vehicle, is asked to contact the collision investigation unit as soon as possible, at 613-236-1222 ext. 2481.
