Gatineau police have arrested one man after receiving a third-party report of death threats involving a gun Friday morning.
Police were say the person who was threatened told a friend about the incident and the friend then called police.
Officers located the 40-year-old suspect in the Buckingham area just before 1 p.m. He was in a truck with a woman and a child when he was arrested. Police also seized two air guns from the vehicle.
The man, who has not been named, was scheduled to appear in court via teleconference Friday afternoon.
Police say they continue to investigate and the matter is not one of domestic violence.
