COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS continuously monitors the distance from the vehicle ahead, warning you if it senses a danger of collision and optimizing the braking power based on distance. If collision is imminent, PRE-SAFE® helps protect occupants with automatic belt tensioning, seat positioning and side window closure.

COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST. The risk of rear-end collisions with the vehicle ahead is minimized by this system. First, a radar-based distance warning system activates. Then, if braking distance is insufficient, Adaptive Brake Assist builds up additional brake pressure, enhancing the driver's emergency braking.
ADAPTIVE BRAKE with HOLD. The HOLD function of the ADAPTIVE BRAKEsystem is activated by firmly depressing the brake pedal, preventing the vehicle from rolling unintentionally at lights or in stop-and-go traffic.
ATTENTION ASSIST. Warns the driver visually and audibly if drowsiness or inattention is detected, based on deviations from an individual driver profile the car has compiled.
