Police are on the hunt for a suspect that hit a construction worker in a paintball gun a drive-by shooting in Gatineau Monday afternoon.
Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Marc Tessier said police were called to Highway 50 just before the des Draveurs bridge around 4:30 p.m. after a construction worker was shot in the neck.
The construction worker suffered bruising, but Tessier said the injuries could have been much worse if the paintball hit the man in the face.
The vehicle allegedly involved in the drive-by paintball gun shooting was a grey sedan, such as a Honda Civic.
The construction worker didn’t get a look at the driver or notice if there were any other occupants in the car, Tessier said.
Anyone with information about the shooting can call police at 819-770-9111.
