A fire destroyed a mobile home in south Ottawa late on Wednesday night, displacing two people.
At just after 9 p.m. Ottawa Fire received a call that a mobile home and nearby trees were up in flames at 8868 Lynwood Park Private.
Crews battled the fire for multiple hours and were forced to take extra precautions as a 200 gallon propane tank was in the immediate vicinity.
The two occupants of the residence were not home at the time of the fire. An Ottawa Fire spokesperson said the home was a “complete loss.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
