Three people were displaced following a stubborn fire in a mobile home in Gatineau’s west end overnight Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the residence at 38 Fifth Ave. W., near Highway 50 and La Vérendrye Boulevard, shortly before midnight.
The Gatineau fire department deployed a dozen trucks and 24 firefighters to the scene.
They found one of the residents attempting to put out the fire. She was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The Red Cross has taken the three residents to shelter.
The cause of the fire in not yet determined. Damages are estimated at $100,000.
