The man who was charged after his wife was hit and killed by a vehicle in Arnprior last week was released on bail Monday.
Clive Mimnagh, the victim’s 65-year-old husband, appeared in court Monday to face a charge of dangerous driving causing death.
A source says Pamela Mimnagh, 55, was struck by a blue Ford half-ton truck on Charles Street in Arnprior.
The truck had Alberta licence plates. The back of the vehicle was loaded with goods apparently taken from a residence on the street.
Mimnagh suffered massive head injuries and, despite efforts by paramedics to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
